He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter John and Florence Houska (Eschen); and his wife Charlotte Houska. He is survived by: his daughters, Elaine Crosby (George) of Newport News and Sarah Shadle (Tom) of Ely; and his grandchildren, Corey and T. J. Shadle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
