He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Rima and Macie Rima (Meyer); his wife Joyce Rima; his granddaughter Michelle Rima; his great grandchild Macie Hankins; and his brother Neil Rima.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Rima (Deb) of Cave Creek, Debra Steffen (Phil) of Winthrop, Gary Rima (Marla) of Charles City, Dennis Rima (Julie) of Dubuque, Neil Rima (Marcia) of Nevada, Janet Rima (R. W. McDowell) of Delhi, David Rima (Lori) of Cedar Rapids and Lisa Sage (Chad) of El Paso, Texas; his brother Jim Rima (Elaine) of Oquawka, Illinois; and his close friend Doug Bowers of Strawberry Point. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
