She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Fleming and Leila Fleming (Taylor); her parents-in-law, Harlan and Cuba Starry; her son-in-law James Colton; and her brothers, Lester "Joe" Fleming and Albert Fleming.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Starry; her children, Shevonne Starry of Dubuque, Sheila Miller (Paul) of Glendale, Karen Colton (Jim Corrigan) of Glendale, Teresa Starry-Bussler (Curt) of Glencoe and Lester Starry (Lori) of Marion; her grandchildren, Megan Basler, David Miller, Nicholas Miller, Kayla Colton, Kirsten Barott, Brianna Starry and Caleb Starry; and her siblings, Susan Lucas of Cedar Rapids, Doris House (Howdy) of Manchester, Donna Smith of Anamosa, Duane Fleming of Texas and Steve Fleming (Marsha) of Lamont. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Because of COVID-19, masks are required at the funeral home.
