He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Hamlett and Lela Hamlett (Galer); his sisters, Rita and Beverly; and his brother-in-law Harold Heddinger.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadine Hamlett of Strawberry Point; his children, Larry Hamlett (Linda) of Cedar Rapids, Kathy Simon (Mike) of Verona, Cheryl Holtz (Don) of Manchester and Darla Kelly (David) of Waterloo; his daughter-in-law Theresa Hamlett of Cedar Rapids; and his sister-in-law Kay Heddinger of Marion. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren.
Because of COVID-19 concerns, masks are required at the church.
