Bernice Grundmeyer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Grundmeyer (Strawberry Point, Iowa), who passed away on November 15, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Klein and Frances Klein (Bueltel); her husband Willis; her son Dean; her grandson Tom; her great grandchildren, Lincoln and Oakley; her grandson-in-law Doug; and her parents-in-law, Anton and Dorothy Grundmeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Les Grundmeyer (Chris) of Aurora, Valerie Firth of Pagosa Springs, Alan Grundmeyer (Kelly), Vicki Hurd of Cincinnati, Gale Ghaffari of Apple Valley, Ann Bevan (Jon) of Kansas City and Adele Grundmeyer of Lakeville, Minnesota. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren, many in-laws, nieces and nephews, and extended family members, as well as dear friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed to the Arlington, Iowa, First Responders, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and St. Mary Catholic Church in support of St. Albert's Cemetery.
