He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Marigny Sr. and Alta Gracie Lewis (Nunez); his former wife Ingrid Lewis; his daughter Denise Schnitker; his sisters, Betty Hood and Gracie Stone; and his nephew Gary Stone.
He is survived by: his spouse Ingrid Regina Worbs; his children, Robert Lewis (Sharon) of Jewell, IA, Ingrid Nesbit (Bruce) of Jewell, IA and Sam Lewis (Marina) of Orlando, FL; his son-in-law Kevin Schnitker of Apopka, FL; his grandchildren, Matthew Lewis (Amy), Mark Lewis, Maggie Lewis, Regina Jenkins (Michael), Jennifer Medina, Taylor Schnitker, Kyle Schnitker and Alexander Lewis; and his siblings, Merlin Lewis (Joy) of Eustis, FL and Leona Kraemer of Yucaipa, CA. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Stratford Specialty Care Center, 1200 HWY 175 East, Stratford, IA 50249, for all the care and love that they gave him over the past 12 ½ years.
