He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Berglund and Bertha Berglund (Challe); and his siblings, Ronald Berglund, Angeline Appelgate and Lois Sargent.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Maria Erickson of Stratford; his children, Jared Berglund (Heather) of Dayton, John Berglund (Lisa) of Webster City, Jim Berglund (Andi) of Stratford and Julie Haberer (Tom) of Boone; and his sisters, Mary Olthoff of Stanhope and Martha Carlstedt of Tucson, Arizona. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Stratford Lutheran Church or the family.
