She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Bergman and Mabel Bergman (Carlson); her former husbands, Keith Edward Jenkins and Duane Bauer (Keith Jenkins); her sisters, Mary Jane Johnson and Gloria Bergman; and her son-in-law David Martin.

She is survived by: her children, Cecil Christian "Chris" Bauer (Shirley) of Stratford, IA, Nancy Martin of Harcourt, IA, Janet Mitchell (Ted) of Webster City, IA and Donna Ryder (Mark) of Kamrar, IA; her grandchildren, Andrea Bauer, Kaeleen Stoneburner (Shane), McKenna Mitchell, Bradly Bauer (Christina), Kelly Jenkins and Cameron Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Dustin Bauer (Harlie), Mason Bauer (Kelsey), Brock Bauer, Brogan Bauer, Brody Bauer, Easton Stoneburner and Ella Stoneburner.

“Condolences to the family of my friend Fran Jenkins. She came into my life when I hired her to work in the ED of Boone Hospital. Right away when I met her I knew she would be an asset to our department. She had this wonderful caring personality. She was concerned about not knowing what she needed. I reassured her that she had the qualifications I needed and that is compassion for people and the willingness to work hard is some very difficult situations. She was loved by all, a very special lady”
