We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2018, at the age of 74, Douglas P Anderson (Stratford, Iowa), born in Boone, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parent Arvid Anderson; his spouse Susan Stumbo; his mother Ila; his children, Teresa Cechota (Dave) of Cedar Rapids, Chad Anderson (Ji Yon Shim) and Luke Anderson of New Braunfels, Texas; his siblings, Don Anderson of Boone, Dick Anderson of Stratford, Dixie Detlef (Vern) of Indianapolis and Darlene Lindmark (Doug) of Stratford; and his grandchildren, Ellie, Olivia, Marie, Isaac, Chloe, Josie, Carsen, Charlie Cechota, Nathan, Tyler, Lily and Caleb Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Hope Lodge in Iowa City or Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.
