He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kraus and Bernadette Kraus (Koenigs); his wife Brenda Carlson; his brother-in-law Virgil Burns; his great grandchild Jacelyn; and his great great grandchild Wesley.
He is survived by: his former wife Phyllis Hagedorn; his children, Teri Dobbs (Dean) of Nevada, IA, Sheri Gomez (Paco) of Nevada, IA, Keli Kraus (Neil Rinehart) of Stratford and Ken Kraus (Rhondele) of Garner; his stepdaughters, Dena and Cara; and his siblings, Kay, Karen, Gary, Mary and Jean. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and many special nieces, nephews, and friends.
