He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Knickerbocker and Glenda Knickerbocker (Davis). He is survived by: his siblings, Jacque Read (David) of Stanhope and Kirk Knickerbocker of Williams, IA; his nieces and nephews, Gary Knickerbocker, Ashley Ann Knickerbocker, Lee Knickerbocker, Brett Read and Laura Schwickerath (Travis); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, A'dilynn, Corbin, Kyler and Cade.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
