She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hagen and Faye Hagen (Kuhn); her son Brian Deon Olson; her grandson Jamey Grady; and her siblings, Charles, Tunney, Donald Hagen and Connie Rasmussen.
She is survived by: her children, Deana Toresdahl (Monte) of Ames, Dawn Olson of Ankeny and Danette Olson of McCallsburg; her sister Alberta "Toots" Kennedy; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Grady (Ammi), Zachary Toresdahl, Cody Toresdahl, Mallory Toresdahl, Jessica Dirks (Kyle), Jennifer Miller, Julia Miller, Michael Ashby (Heather) and Jarid Olson. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
