It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Olson (Story City, Iowa), who passed away on January 11, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Olson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ingvald Twedt and Nora Twedt; her parents-in-law, Arnold and Jeanette Olson; her siblings, Marjorie Evans (Kenneth), Ronald Twedt (Edna), Truman Twedt (Ila) and Virgil Twedt; her son-in-law Dennis Krumm; and her grandson Jeremy Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Thompson (Bruce), Roger Olson (Tammy), Pam Krumm and Julee Lund (Tim); her sister LoaDell Tonderum; her sisters-in-law, Doris Twedt and Joyce McVicker; and her grandchildren, Jason, Toby, Tracy, Brent, Jon, Justin and Veronica. She is also survived by one step grandchild; thirteen great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Following Lawrence's death in June of 2012 and then diagnosis of Alzheimer's in 2014, Ruth moved to Bethany Life in Story City.
