He was predeceased by: his father Milt. He is survived by: his wife Kim; his former wives, Sheri (Hanson) and Brenda (Severson); his son Jacob (Maddie) of Story City; his stepson Seth (Willow) of Story City; his grandchildren, Jackson, Calvin, Olivia, Easton, Mya and Logan; his mother Gloria Severson of Story City; and his sister Mary Peterson (Steve) of Story City. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Israel Family Hospice House or the Iowa State University Foundation.
