She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Porter Quam and Lela Quam (Lenning) of Story City; her significant other Robert Eischen (Bob); her daughter Robin Lee; her grandchildren, Kennedy of Chapin, Katherine of Chapin, Christian of Chapin and Camden of Chapin; her brothers, Ron Quam of Johnston, Iowa and Paul Quam of Story City, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Fairchild (Mike) of Ames, Iowa, Ed Eischen (Row) of Eldora and Joan Quam. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Israel Family Hospice House.
