It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Maakestad (Story City, Iowa), who passed away on November 13, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Johnson and Mildred Johnson (Voga); and her husband Theodore "Ted" Maakestad. She is survived by: her children, Miriam Assef (Saied) of Green Bay, WI, Michael (Sherry) of Pella and Matthew (Amy) of Roseville, MN. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.
