It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Merle S. Frette of Story City, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 100, on January 23, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward P. Frette and Bertina Frette (Jacobson); his wife Phyllis M. Schutt; and his siblings, Ethel Omvig (Burnett), Vernal Frette, Charlotte Friest (Floyd), Otis Frette (Elena), Arnold Frette (Bernice), LaVerne (Mary Frette) and Ardis Frette.

He is survived by: his brother Bennet of Story City; and his sisters-in-law, Arlyce and Norma Schutt. He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church Library.
