It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Lynne Egeland of Story City, Iowa, born in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Jorgensen and Amy Dawn Jorgensen; and her sister Naomi Weave (Ross). She is survived by: her former husband Richard Wendell Sowers; her children, Amy Knight (Eric) of Pella and Christopher Sowers of Jefferson; her brother Marlin Jorgensen of Ames; and her husband Orlene Egeland of Story City. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
