She is survived by: her husband Kelly; her parents, Brian Simpson and Kristin Simpson; her mother-in-law Eva Ruther; her sibling Brianne McCoy (Shawn); her nieces, Briley and Kenzie McCoy; and her grandmother Karen Simpson. She is also survived by uncles, aunt and cousins.
Memorials may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project in her name.
