He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Barber (Knapp) and Vernon Barber; his son Jay; and his siblings, Charlotte, Betty and Dennis.
He is survived by: his former wife Geraldine Hope Curry; his children, Dean (Stephaney), Dale (Monica) and Jared (Mindy); and his wife Gerry. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one unborn great-great grandchild.
