With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Jae Murken of Story City, Iowa, who passed away on April 20, 2021 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert Murken and Ione Heldt. He is survived by: his parents, Pat Murken and Jo Murken of Story City; his siblings, Sarah Murken of Garden City and David Murken of Story City; and his grandparents, Marjorie Murken of Story City and Dayle Heldt of Boone. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name.
