She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Simmering and Alma Simmering (Miedtke); her husband Milan Nagel of Paul's Lutheran Church; her daughter Mary Nienow; her son-in-law Greg Nordstrom; her grandson Lucas Green; her brothers, Donald Simmering and Eugene Simmering; and her sister-in-law Lorna Simmering.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Nagel (Nancy), Linda Nordstrom and Michael Nagel (Marie); her son-in-law Rick Nienow; her grandchildren, Kiphany Hof (David), Matt Nordstrom (Rachel), Katie Madson (Darin), Daniel Nagel, Tony Nagel (Carrie), Ethan Nagel (Amanda), Sarah Bolden (Jeremy), Aaron Green (Samantha), Hannah Green and Mariah Green; and her sister-in-law Marlene Simmering. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (211 Budd St, Fairmont, MN 56031). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
The family requests memorials be given in Ardella's name to St. Paul Lutheran School and St. Paul Lutheran Hour Broadcast on KSUM radio.
