With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvina Odella Olson (Story City, Iowa), who passed away on December 2, 2019 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hovick and Tena Hovick (Larson); and her siblings, John, Milo, Harold, Theroy, Richard Hovick, Olive Teig and Arlene.

She is survived by: her son Ole Gene Olson (Susan); her grandsons, Randy Olson (Kelsey) of Story City and Steve Olson of Ankeny; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Keaton, Kiernan and Peter; and her brother Raymond Hovick (Juanita) of Ankeny.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
