He was predeceased by: his parents, George Allen and Effie Allen; his wife Charlotte; his daughter Sandra Horst; and his brother Gail Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Steven and Steve Allen (DeAnn) of Early; his son-in-law Henry Horst of Lake View; his grandchildren, Stacey Etchison (Travis) of Des Moines, Amy Hock (Cary) of Norwalk, Eric Allen (Nicole) of Vinton and Greg Allen (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Leif Allen, Olive Allen and Elin Allen. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
