She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles George Wilson and Bernice Petrie Wilson; her siblings, Portia Wilson Pershing and Dean Wilson; her niece Stephanie Pershing Lewis; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Hurley Kassel.
She is survived by: her children, David Kenneth Kassel (Cindy), Paul Charles Kassel (Julie), James Petrie Kassel (Patti) and Karen Kassel Hutto; her grandchildren, To David, Cindy Kassel, Heidi Fritz (Scott), Anne Holmquist (Bill) of Minneapolis, MN and Katie Kassel of Kansas City, MO.; her great grandchildren, Mason Fritz, Luke, Lauren Holmquist, Elliott, Hazel Kassel and Ruby Kassel; and her husband Kenneth Kassel.
