We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2022, at the age of 80, David E. Van Alst of Stockport, Iowa, born in Toddville, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl L. Alst and Georgia Van Alst (Brown); his siblings, Dennis, Tom and Diana; and his nephew Terry Larson.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Lindner of Stockport; his children, Kimberly Meredith (Dave), Melody Nelson and David E. Van Alst Jr.; his grandchildren, Nicholas Owens, Wendy Schilb, Samuel Schilb, Aaron Brobston, Amy Brobston and Alex Brobston; and his siblings, Lavern, Jim, Dewane, Doug, Ed, Rhonda, Deb, Ginger, Carol, Janice and Marlene. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
