She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Townsend and Mary Townsend (Carson); her spouse Dale Eckhart; her grandson Matthew Cruikshank; and her siblings, June Hardenburgh, Mae Eckhart, Lucile Severidt, George and Harold Townsend.
She is survived by: her children, Paul (Barbara) of Las Vegas, NV, Jean Cruikshank (Dwight) of Waukesha, WI, Teresa (Michael Gibson) of Dubuque, IA, Karen Viola (Joe) of Ballwin, MO and Alan (Karri) of State Center, IA; her grandchildren, Joseph Eckhart, Christina Martin (Josh), Kathleen Munn (Evan) and Elizabeth Hemsley (Pete); her children, Mark Cruikshank (Sarah), John Cruikshank (Melissa), James Cruikshank (Vanessa), William Gibson, Wade Gibson, Dana Haase (Ricky), Drew Gibson, Branten Eckhart (Kelsie), Owen Eckhart, Margaret Bailey and Angela Viola; her great grandchildren, Alison Martin, Evangeline Munn, Jacob, Jessalyn, Jeremiah Hemsley, Kendall Cruikshank, Jack, Madelyn Cruikshank and June Bailey; and her sister Mary Ellen Gray.
