She was predeceased by: her parents, Helmar Benson and Mary Benson (Fuller); her former husband Gary Colson; her daughter Deborah Lindsey; and her grandsons, Gary Lindsey and Andrew Hilleman.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Michael Hilleman (Cynthia) of State Center and Michele Vanderhoff (Jason) of Newell, IA; her grandchildren, Dennis Lindsey, Allison Hilleman, Jaron Vanderhoff and Jaicee Vanderhoff; her great grandchildren, Maya, Isla Ash and Melody Lindsey; her sister Virginia Mann (Lee) of Corinth; and her son-in-law Richard Lindsey of Corinth. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
