It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Bartine (State Center, Iowa), born in Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lyons and Julia Lyons (Tracy); her husband Richard (Dick); her sister Martha Nowlan (George); and her grandson Paul Gradoville.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Randall (Randy) of Melbourne, Jennifer Worley (John) of Ames, Sue Gradoville (Steve) of Boone, Cheryl Halterman (Kevin) of Indianola, Rachel Robinson (Don) of Ankeny and Pam Sigmund (Jake) of Mitchellville; her brother Ted Lyons (Joanne); and her brother-in-law Mike Bartine (RuthAnn). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family, and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (610 3rd St SW, State Center, IA 50247). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name can be made to Iowa River Hospice, St. Joseph's Parish, St. Jude's Hospital, or the charity of your choice.
