He was predeceased by: his mother Henrietta Kreykes (VanderBosch); and his brother-in-law Richard Hendrickson. He is survived by: his wife Joy Kreykes; his son K. Douglas Kreykes (Jeannie Leonard); his stepchildren, Kim Karsjen (David), Jim Vellinga (Vicki) and Matt Vellinga (Jan); his grandchildren, Bryan Kreykes (Julia), Todd Kreykes (Jen) and Amy Davey (Robert); his stepgrandchildren, Stacey Phelps (Tyler), Brian Karsjen (Linsey), Cory Vellinga, Nicole Christianson (Keith) and Jordan McCuen (Connor); and his siblings, Shirley Hendrickson of Georgetown, Sharon Brink (Al) of Sioux Falls and Rodney Kreykes (Johana) of Plymouth, Minnesota. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and 11 step great-grandchildren.
