We bid farewell to Ken Kifer of State Center, Iowa, born in Epworth, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 16, 2024 at the age of 90. Ken touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Kifer and Hazel Kifer (Hinde); his children, Keith Kifer and Kristen Kifer; his sister Shirley; his brother-in-law John White; and his parents-in-law, Clell and Edna Youker.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sam Miller, Jake Miller, Maddie Miller (Quinton Ball), Caitlin Wicker (Brandon), Jenna Kifer (Miles Wichhart) and Maxwell Lyke; his great grandchild Paisley Wicker; and his sister Carole Neyens (Pat). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ken's name may be directed to Iowa River Hospice.
