He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Clough and Mable Clough (Westphall); his wife Maxine Starits; his daughter Jeanette Sanders; and his sister Carley Luethjie.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Halleck (Roger), Ronald Clough (Susan), Randall Clough, Jeana Clough and Richard Clough (Shelly); his grandchildren, Todd Pope-Sandquist (Rob), Tedd Pope (Dana), Wendy Lang (Joey), Troy Sanders and Chris Sanders (Christine); and his great grandchildren, Peyton Pope, Preston Pope, Logan Lang, Noah Lang, Oliver Lang, Olivia Sanders and Jack Sanders.
Memorials may be directed in Howard's name to his family for a later designation.
