It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest N. Schaper (State Center, Iowa), who passed away on August 20, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Lane Schaper; and his parent Vernon Schaper. He is survived by: his parent Gertrude Miller Schaper; his sons, Mark E. Schaper (Nadia) of Charlestown, SC and Eric L. Schaper (Kathryn) of San Angelo, TX; his grandchildren, Alicia Shackett, Veronica Lehamn, Zack Sheppard, Rebecca Sheppard and Jessica Forsyth; and his brothers, Martin R. Schaper (Katherine) of Fairview, TN and Byron Schaper (Linda Morassini Schaper) of State Center.
