She is survived by: her husband Darrell Coppess; her son Dr. Mark Coppess of Memphis, Tennessee; her grandsons, Michael Coppess of Raleigh and Dr. William Coppess of Johnson City, Tennessee; her sister Darlene Eichelberger of Atalissa, Iowa.; and also Callen Coppess of Johnson City, Tennessee..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fry Funeral Home (220 E 6th St, Tipton, IA 52772). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stanwood Cemetery (449 Lemon Ave, Stanwood, IA 52337).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Stanwood Cemetery in memory of Joann.
