It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Greg C. Gerdes of Stanwood, Iowa, born in Anamosa, Iowa, who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Gerdes and Velma Gerdes (Purdy); his brothers, David and Van; his girlfriend Adrienne Rickles; and his granddaughter Destini Lynn Halstead.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bobbi Jo Halstead (William) of Stanwood, Paula Gerdes of North Liberty and Denise McCrea of Olin; and his grandchildren, Devon Halstead, Mallory Moore and Kiel McCrea.
