Carl August Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl August (Stanwood, Iowa), born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on April 24, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd August and Genevieve August (Stone); his brothers, Eugene and James August; and his great grandchild Nolan August.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Gelene" Eckert; his children, Leo August (Joan) of Davenport, Mike August (Kay) of New Liberty, Linda August of New Liberty, Rhonda Kuehl (James) of Stockton, Gary August (Robyn) of Walcott and Craig August (Shirly) of Ningbo; and his half-siblings, Judy Cranfill of Athens, TX and David August of Atchison, KS. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren.
