He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis E. Barr and Alma Leonora Barr (Riggs); and his sibling Jolea Kay. He is survived by: his wife Laura Barr of Stanwood; his children, Christine Carroll (Don) of Hubbard, Scott (Cheri) of Iowa City, Lonny of Iowa City and Danielle Jones (Tony Curtis) of Williamsburg, Iowa; and his sister Jonna Lininger (Lloyd) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
