She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Young and Nellie Blanche Young (Comstock); her husband Donald Luther Peterson; and her siblings, Charles, Kenneth, James, Darwin, William, Thelma, Ruth and Ruby.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Peterson (Lori) of Elkhorn, NE and Sara McAlexander (Jon) of Urbandale, IA; her grandchildren, Alyssa Peterson of Omaha, NE and Kyle McAlexander; her sister Shirley Baker of Clarinda, IA; and her sister-in-law Betty Young of Red Oak, IA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or the Good Samaritan Society.
