Thomas Franklin Schenck Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Franklin Schenck of Stanton, Iowa, born in Red Oak, Iowa, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Schenck and Marjorie Schenck (Sederburg); his sister Carolyn Durkin; and his brother-in-law Bruce Coulman. He is survived by: his wife Susan Schenck of Stanton, IA; his children, Jeff Schenck (Lori) of Elkhorn, NE, Nick Schenck (Amber) of Adel, IA and Becky Jensen (Brent) of Louisville, NE; his grandchildren, KJ, Landon, Dawson, Koleman, Evelyn, Brock and Blake; and his siblings, Robert Schenck (Tasha) of Stanton, IA, Joanie Burke (Dean) of Stanton, IA and Mary Coulman of Willowbrook, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mamrelund Lutheran Church (410 Eastern Ave, Stanton, IA 51573). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
