It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Dean Peterson (Stanton, Iowa), who passed away on July 17, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl V. Peterson and Honorine Peterson (Anderson); his son Craig Peterson; his brothers, Donald "Pete" Peterson (Janis), Dale Peterson and Norman Peterson; and his great grandchild Maggie Soll.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Peterson of Stanton, IA; his daughters, Vickie Wolfe (Lynn) of Villisca, IA and Cindy Beeson (Alan) of Red Oak, IA; his grandchildren, Aimee Mauderly (Cody), Emilee Soll (Kirt), Erin Bowden (Kirk), Kelly Kline (Eric), Ryan Beeson (Samantha) and Sarah Perrien (Nate); his great grandchildren, Mackensie, Max Mauderly, Farrah, Gracie, Jackson Soll, Reece Larson, Brock Bowden, Tyler, AJ, Stella Beeson, Nolan, Marlee, Mia Perrien, Sam, Jack, Charlie and Lucy Kline; his great great grandchild Bennett Hambright; his siblings, Carl Vincent Peterson of Placentia, CA and JoAnn English (Joseph) of Burnsville, MN; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Peterson of Ledyard, CT. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
