It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelly Cabbage (Stanton, Iowa), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Eugene Scroggs (Gene) and Phyllis Lorene Scroggs (Whitehead) of Clarinda, IA; her daughter Ashley Michelle; her grandparents, Milo (Mike), Helen Whitehead, Forrest (Jack) and Dicie Scroggs; her father-in-law Thaine Cabbage; her sister-in-law Gail Eitzen; and her son Alex Cabbage of Stanton, IA.

She is survived by : her husband Kevin Thaine Cabbage of Stanton, IA; her sisters, Angi Swanson (Kenny) of Clarinda, IA and Marci Fine (Jeff) of Platte City, MO; her mother-in-law LaDonna Cabbage of New Market, IA; her brothers-in-law, Gerald Eitzen of Clarinda, IA, Steve Cabbage (Renay) of New Market, IA and Rick Cabbage (Jolene) of New Market, IA; and her cousin Kelli Pedersen of Norwalk, IA. She is also survived by eight nieces, seven nephews, two aunts, one uncle, several cousins and many friends.

“In loving memory of Shelly Cabbage, Shelly was a wonderful friend and neighbor. I was so sad when Bailey told me of her passing. Our kids had such a wonderful time together growing when we lived in Stanton. I could always count on Shelly to make me laugh and smile.
