She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Carlson and Frances W. Carlson (Carlsward); her son Randall; her siblings, Beverly Westenburg (Bob), Richard Carlson (Joy) and William Carlson; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Carlson.
She is survived by: her husband James T. Raney of Stanton, IA; her children, Judy Rhamy (Larry) of Avoca, IA, Larry Raney (Nancy) of Winterset, IA and Mark Raney of Clarinda, IA; her siblings, Marcia Sierp (Robert) of Gold Canyon, AZ, Darrell Carlson of Red Oak, IA, Roger Carlson (Mary Jo) of Marion, IA and Daniel Carlson of Clarinda, IA; and her brothers-in-law, Bob Peterson (Lynn) of Okoboji, IA and Ken Petersen of Overland Park, KS. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
