She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Victor and Doris Marie Magneson (Herron); her husband Quentin Johnson; her son David Johnson (Quentin); her great grandchild Dyamond Ott; her siblings, Ralph Magneson, Delano Magneson (Mary Ann), Leroy Magneson, Don Magneson (Millie), Marilyn Baker and Lorena Sothman; and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Hicks and Carol Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hicks (Don) of Stanton, IA and Gary Johnson (Charlene) of Glenwood, IA; her grandchildren, Diane Ott of Ankeny, IA, Quentin Johnson of Waterloo, IA, Lynn Hicks (Mary) of Des Moines, IA, Lesli Hill (Heath) of Ellsworth, IA and Chad Johnson (Holly) of Glenwood, IA; her great grandchildren, Dallas Ott (Isaiah Kramme), Elena Hicks, Olivia Hicks, Caiden Hill (Stephanie), Sadey Allgood and Haley Woods; and her sister Karen Urich (Gary) of Republic, MO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Emerson United Methodist Church, the Indian Creek Museum, or the charity of the donor's choice.
