She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard McKinney and Veva McKinney (Skank); her son Steve; her brother Robert McKinney; and her siblings-in-law, Boyd Mellott and Sally Mann.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Watson of Stanton, IA; her daughter Melanie (Mark Peterson) of Stanton, IA; her grandsons, Matt Peterson (Becki) of Stanton, IA, Mitch Peterson of Shenandoah, IA, Magnum Peterson (Kelsey) of Mebane, NC, Monroe Peterson of Villisca, IA and Myles Peterson of Omaha, NE; her great grandchildren, Addie and Zak Peterson; her sister Marge Mellott of Lenox, IA; and her brothers-in-law, Dale Watson (Nevada) of Stanton, IA and David Watson of Reno, NV. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to Mamrelund Lutheran Church.
