She was predeceased by : her parents, Merle Hoops and Pauline Hoops (Armstrong); her husband Duane Akers; her son Randy Akers; her grandchildren, Mercedes Akers, Danette Harman and Shaun Akers; her brother LeRoy Hoops; and her siblings-in-law, Darlene Armstrong, Charlotte Akers and Lloyd Akers.
She is survived by : her children, Debbie Boyd (Chris) of Sidney, IA, Angie Akers of Stanton, IA, Rick Akers of Red Oak, IA and Gary Akers (Angi) of Grant, IA; her grandson David Harman (Mollee) of Stuart, NE; her children, Summer Akers, Bailey String of Guthrie Center, IA and Kodi Akers of Red Oak, IA; her great grandchild Shaun Akers of Sidney, IA; her grandchildren, Kendall Globe of Omaha, NE, Decklyn Harman of Stuart, NE, Scarlett String of Guthrie Center, IA and Ava Lynn of Sioux City, IA; her siblings, Gary Hoops (Chris) of The Villages, FL and Kim Woodle of Duncombe, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Deloris Williams of Villisca, IA and Junior Akers (Edna) of Peru, IA. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
