He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schnepf and Bernadette Schnepf (Wilberding); and his nephews, Christopher and Jacob Amosson. He is survived by: his former wife Laura Wagner; his children, Shawn Bullock (Jenn) of Gardner, KS and Sara Schnepf of West Point, NE; his grandsons, Micah Bullock, Dylyn Gentrup and Etrhan Gentrup; his siblings, Mary Hassebrock (Todd) of Williams, Carmie Halligan Fort (Pat), Jean Amosson (Tony) of Clive, Joe Schnepf of Newton, Peter Schnepf of Webster City and Paul Schnepf (Theresa) of Ankeny; and his close friends, Mindy Highland of Stanhope and Tucker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Steve's memory may be given to St. Jude, Animal Rescue League, Salvation Army, Iowa Public Radio or PBS.
