Sylvia Mayer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Mayer (Stacyville, Iowa), who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary M. (Wingert) and Ben Adams, Jr.; her husband Jerry Mayer; her son Ronald "Ron" Mayer; and her siblings, Jerome Adams, Charles Adams, Willard "Jim" Adams, Mildred Schaefer and Virginia Weber.
She is survived by: her former husband Jerome Mayer; and her sister-in-law Anita Adams of Stacyville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having public services at this time.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Stacyville Community Nursing Home.
