It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Verna Brumm (Stacyville, Iowa), who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Julius Brumm; her son David (Diana); and her mother Julia Smith Gerber. She is survived by: her siblings, Margaret Armstrong (Lorenz), Evangeline Landherr (Wilmer), Helen Noterman (Arnold) and Adrian Gerber; her sister-in-law Mary Gerber; her children, Curt Brumm (Jenelle), Maurice Brumm (Rita Rippley), Stan Brumm (Betty), Joyce Bauer (Kevin), Janice Ramler (Dave) and Carol Ruda (Tim); her brother Roger Gerber; and her sister-in-law Elaine Gerber. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Stacyvillle Community Nursing Home.
