With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Mayer (Stacyville, Iowa), who passed away on August 24, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Thome and Rosina Thome (Faas); her husband Gene Mayer; her sons, Kevin Mayer and Wayne Mayer (Bonita); her siblings, Mary Young (Anthony), Joe Thome (Arlene), Ben Thome and Ralph Thome; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Hayungs and Gene Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Mayer (Linda) of St. Ansgar, Sandra Mayer of Rochester, Wanda Warrington (Dan) of St. Ansgar, Diane Duvall (Matt) of Conifer, Gwen Isler (Josh) of St. Ansgar and Dean Mayer (Diane) of St. Ansgar; her daughter-in-law Grace Mayer; her friend Mark of Mazeppa; her sisters, Imelda Mayer (Vernon) of Stacyville, Lorena Panhoff (Ray) of Ventura and Emilie Gerlach (Wayne) of Carterville; her brother-in-law Mildred Thome of Osage; and also, Mary Thome of Adams, Arlene Brown of Osage and Glenn Mayer (Janet) of Stacyville. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
