He was predeceased by: his former wife Kathleen; his children, Glen, John and Mary; and his siblings, Cletus and Ramona.
He is survived by: his spouse Kathleen Scheer (Kay); his children, Robert Hatten (Kim) of Minneapolis, Ann Barton of Stacyville, Dick Hatten (Kathy) of Osage, Jean Christofferson (Randy) of Mira Loma, Lisa Hatten-Lowe (Rusty) of Decatur and David Hatten of Stacyville; and his brother Don Hatten of California. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
